Christian Education

At GTaustin, we believe in the importance of training Christians in the powerful truths of the Word of God. We provide the opportunity to study God’s Word and connect with others through a variety of Christian Education classes. Course selections vary from quarterly studies, taking the student through the Bible in a four-year course of study, to elective and topical studies of interest. Whatever your specific needs and situation in life, GTaustin has a place for you to grow and thrive in your spiritual life. The Berean School of The Bible

Steve Van Winkle will be teaching the twelve-week course "The Life of Christ" beginning September 14 at 9:00 a.m. The cost is $75.00 which includes tuition, course materials, tests, and the textbook "The Life of Christ". The cost to audit the class for non-credit will be less.

The Launchers Singles Ministry

The Launchers ministry provides a safe place for single adults to grow spiritually and connect with others with similar likes and needs. A major emphasis is placed on Bible study and prayer.
Our ministry focuses on helping single adults be successful in maintaining a life that is pleasing to the Lord. Activities designed to accomplish this include Sunday School, Connection Groups, retreats and conferences for singles.

O.A.S.I.S

The Super Seniors is a special and exciting ministry to individuals and couples 55 years of age and older. Meeting twice a month, we alternate events between fellowship times here at the church and outings where we visit places of interest in the beautiful Texas hill country.

O.A.S.I.S minister to the church body through our Prayer Chain and a Visitation Committee which reaches out to individuals from GTaustin who reside in nursing homes and seniors in the hospital.

Women’s Ministries

The GTaustin Women’s Ministries reaches out to women of all ages. Women connect with one another through Bible study, prayer, conferences, retreats, and other special events. We also participate in many outreaches to share the love of Jesus to those in surrounding communities. When women come together they make a positive impact in one another’s lives and for the Kingdom of God.

Men’s Ministries

There are many opportunities for the men of the church to come together for worship, fellowship, and service. Some of the men’s favorite activities include the weekly Men’s Luncheon, meeting each Thursday for lunch, fellowship and a devotion; the annual trip to Big Bend National Park each November; and the Men’s Work Team, providing opportunities of service to others at GTaustin.

Worship Ministry

The purpose and goal of worship at GTaustin is to bless the heart of God with voices and lives raised in obedience and surrender to Christ. We are a collection of men and women from all different ages and backgrounds who come together to worship and lead people into the throne room of God each Sunday morning during the worship services.
